    • Application for Multiple Programs: Candidates need to apply separately to each Symbiosis institute they are interested in, apart from registering for the SNAP exam.
  6. Application Process:
    • Candidates must register for the SNAP exam online through the official SNAP website.
    • After registering for the exam, candidates can also apply to individual Symbiosis institutes based on their preferences.
    • The application process requires filling out personal, academic, and work experience details, selecting the preferred test centers, and paying the exam and program application fees.
  7. Scoring:
    • Total Marks: The SNAP exam is out of 60 marks.
    • The results are declared in the form of percentile scores, and institutes use these percentiles to shortlist candidates for the next rounds of the admission process.
  8. Colleges Accepting SNAP: SNAP is the mandatory entrance exam for all MBA and postgraduate management programs offered by Symbiosis International University, including:
    • SIBM Pune
    • SIBM Bangalore
    • SCMHRD Pune
    • SIIB Pune
    • SIMS Pune

    • GE-PI-WAT: The shortlisted candidates are called for the Group Exercise (GE), Personal Interaction (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT) rounds, which are the final stages of the selection process. Each Symbiosis institute has its own selection criteria and weightage given to the different rounds.
    • The final selection is based on the candidate’s overall performance in SNAP, GE-PI-WAT, academic record, and work experience (if applicable).
  10. SNAP Preparation Tips:
    • Time Management: Since SNAP has a short duration (60 minutes) with 60 questions, candidates need to manage time efficiently and balance speed with accuracy.
    • Mock Tests: Regularly practicing mock tests is important for understanding the exam pattern, improving speed, and identifying areas of weakness.
    • Quantitative Ability: Focus on improving calculation speed and practicing data interpretation questions, as this section can be time-consuming.
    • Logical Reasoning: Analytical reasoning can be tricky. Practicing logical puzzles, seating arrangements, and critical reasoning questions is essential.
    • Verbal Ability: Build vocabulary and reading skills to tackle reading comprehension and grammar-related questions in the General English section.
  11. Important Points to Remember:
    • The negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer means accuracy is important.
    • Candidates can retake the exam, but the best score out of the three attempts will be considered for admission.
    • Each Symbiosis institute may have different cutoffs, so it’s important to check the specific requirements for each program.
